Oasis Design Group evaluated a proposed landscape plan for efficient water usage for a new luxury town home waterfront community during the early stages of the project’s development. Oasis worked with the client to suggest new and reordered landscape plantings to minimize permitting and costs associated with the irrigation requirements.
- Helped the project become more water wise.
- Suggested planting strategies that created a more xeric landscape that emulated a native seaside habitat.
- Recommended irrigation strategies, evaluated existing and proposed soil types, and recommended xeric plant types resistant to drought-all to reduce water usage.
- Evaluated water capacity of three existing wells against proposed irrigation and planting needs.
